Is Carrie Underwood going to head to television as it's newest singing competition judge?

Could be.

The last time American Idol was on the lookout for new judges, Carrie's name was often thrown around as being perfect for the show. Now she says that another show might be in her sights ... X Factor.

In a new interview with Glamour magazine, Carrie talks about how she'd be as a judge on the show.

"I'd never say never. I think I could do things in a very constructive way. But those initial auditions, where you have to say no or tell someone to stop? I don't know if I could do that," she said.

Of course this is all just what-if, but maybe if Carrie shows a genuine interest the show might come a calling.
