Kix Brooks, Faith Hill, Vince Gill, Alison Krauss and Phil Vassar perform songs by pediatric patients at Nashville’s Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital on the new compilation Everybody Has A Story.

Landing today (Tuesday), the 12-track album includes material
written by patients over the past six years. Each song is a result of a clinical music therapy session with music therapist Jenny Plume. Those who participated in the project were treated for variety of illnesses including cancer and cystic fibrosis, while two were heart transplant recipients and one was hospitalized for pneumonia. Proceeds will benefit the Julian T. Fouce Music Therapy Fund at Vanderbilt.
