Last Friday I had an extra 45 minutes before meeting my wife at the doctor for Josh's checkup.  So I decided we should bond at Home Depot.  I had never taken him to any store on my own before so I had no idea what would happen.  I feared it might be like letting a dog off a leash for the first time.  I guess it didn't matter as long as I didn't lose him.

Well, he loved it.  He held my hand or stayed right by me the entire time and was asking questions and excited about everything I wanted to look at.  I think his favorite was going in and out of the exterior doors they have on display but since we don't really need a door right now, this was his second favorite. 

It's a DEWALT brushless impact driver with 20 volt battery.  By the way, these things will put a lag bolt through a 4x4 like a hot knife through butter.  So if you're looking to buy me...er, him something for Christmas, it's on his list.
