WAMZ Pet of the Week: Big Boi

Meet Big Boi! This trusting and loving cat caught the attention of some kind people who brought him to the Kentucky Humane Society after finding him as a stray. He is three-years-old and even though Big Boi has lived outdoors, he is very friendly and outgoing. His saviors knew he deserved a chance at adoption and a lifelong home. When Big Boi arrived at KHS, he tested positive for FIV or Feline

Immunodeficiency Virus. While this may sound scary, it’s really not! Cats with FIV can live long and healthy lives with regular veterinary care. Since Big Boi has an unknown past, it isn't clear if he will do well with children or other animals. However, he has been very social and loving with all people he has met so far, and he has done well meeting dogs. This thirteen-pound hunk of love is waiting for the right person to make him a content house cat. He is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. Meet Big Boi today! Come meet Big Boi today at the Springhurst Feeders Supply, 9485 Brownsboro Road. For more on Big Boi or any of our adoptable pets, please call 502-366-3355 or visit kyhumane.org.
